ETEC publishes each year’s student guide before the cycle. As of this update the 2027 guide is not yet out, so the figures below are the most recent confirmed cycle (2026) and are labelled as such. We update this page, and its dates, as soon as the 2027 guide is published.

When is the Jahziah test in 2027?
ETEC has not yet published the 2027 student guide, so the 2027 dates are not confirmed. Each year’s schedule is published in the official student guide; the most recent confirmed cycle ran 1–17 February 2026, and the 2027 dates are expected there. We update this page when ETEC publishes them.
How many questions and how long?
The 2026 guide lists 55–85 multiple-choice questions in 90–120 minutes including a short questionnaire, varying by discipline. Engineering subjects were 120 minutes; software and computer engineering 90. Treat these as the confirmed baseline for 2027 until the new guide appears.
Do I register myself?
Usually not — expected graduates are registered proactively through the national platform, and the university and Qiyas centre notify you of the date and venue. Confirm your details with your university’s quality or exams office, especially if your graduation term changes.
