Common questions

How many questions are on the Jahziah engineering exam?

ETEC’s 2026 student guide states 55–85 multiple-choice questions depending on the discipline, with 90–120 minutes including a short questionnaire. Confirm current figures in the official guide for your cycle.

Does the Jahziah exam affect graduation or GPA?

No. It is an assessment of programme quality and graduate readiness; results do not affect graduation. Outstanding performance can earn the Readiness Medal of Excellence.

Are the 2027 dates published yet?

Not as of this page. The 2026 cycle ran 1–17 February 2026 and is the confirmed baseline. When ETEC publishes the 2027 guide, this page and the 2027 guide will be updated from it — we do not invent dates.
