Electrical engineering exit exam: topics, format and how to prepare
The electrical version spans the whole degree at once — from node-voltage on a circuit to Fourier transforms to logic gates. Because the questions move between domains, the goal is not speed on any one topic but the ability to recognise which method a problem is asking for. Below are the official areas and the answers students want first.

What does the electrical engineering exam cover?
Five official areas: electrical circuits, electronics, electromagnetics, signals and systems, and digital systems. Circuit analysis and electronics carry the largest share, so a solid footing there pays off across the rest.
Is the exam heavy on maths?
It uses maths as a tool rather than testing proofs: solving a circuit, evaluating a transfer function, or simplifying a Boolean expression. Practising the standard problem types repeatedly is more effective than memorising derivations.
How should I revise for it?
