Jahziah vs Qudurat vs the SCE FE exam: which test are you preparing for?

Three tests people mix up

• Jahziah (جاهزية) — ETEC’s readiness assessment of your university programme’s learning outcomes. Taken by final-year students before graduation; results measure programme quality and do not affect graduation.
• Qudurat for university graduates (قدرات الجامعيين) — a general aptitude test used mainly for postgraduate admission and some employers, not a subject exam.
• SCE Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) — a professional licensure step from the Saudi Council of Engineers for practising engineers, separate from graduation.

Which one should you prepare for?

If you are about to graduate from an engineering programme, you are preparing for Jahziah — that is the test your university administers before you finish. Why the names get confused

Because “جاهزية” simply means “readiness”, and “Jahziah” is transliterated several ways (Jahiziya, Jahiziyah, Jahzia). None of those spellings is a different exam — they all point to the same ETEC test. It is the *content* that differs from Qudurat and the FE, not the name.
